Adhik Jyeshtha Purnima (Vat Savitri)

Full moon in Adhik (intercalary) Jyeshtha month. Married women observe Vat Savitri Vrat for the well-being of their husbands, worshipping the banyan tree and recalling the story of Savitri and Satyavan. Note: Due to Adhik Maas in 2026, there is a second Jyeshtha Purnima on June 29.
