About This Temple

Located on the western bank of the Ganges, this temple is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Hinduism. The current structure was built in 1780 by Ahilyabai Holkar. The Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, inaugurated in 2021, has transformed the temple precinct.
