Kamada Ekadashi
Fasting day dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Falling in Chaitra Shukla Paksha, it is believed to fulfill all desires (kama) and remove the effects of past misdeeds.
Why We Celebrate
Kamada Ekadashi fulfills all desires (kama). According to the Varaha Purana, a celestial musician named Lalit was cursed to become a demon, and his wife Lalita observed this Ekadashi to free him from the curse. The merit of observing Kamada Ekadashi is said to be greater than donating gold, performing fire sacrifices, or visiting all pilgrimage sites.
How It's Celebrated

Break the fast the next morning (Dwadashi) after sunrise at the prescribed time
